Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education ( SSC ) result on June 25

The anxious wait of over 16 lakh SSC students in the state will end on June 25 when the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher
Secondary Education announces the results.
According to deputy director of education Govind Nandede, who is also having charge of divisional secretary of board's Nagpur office, results will we out on Thursday at 11 am. They will be available on the board's official website www.mahresult.nic.in. The results of all eight divisions will be announced simultaneously.

He informed that the students will get marksheets in their respective schools from 3 pm onwards. In all 16,03,144 students had appeared for the SSC examination from Maharashtra from 3,693 centres. Of these, 8,96,748 were boys and 7,06,396 girls. From six districts of Nagpur division, 2,05,935 students appeared for exam from 671 centres.

The board has informed that the students who wish to apply for retotalling should do it before July 6 with required documents. Moreover, failed candidates who want to appear in supplementary exam should fill up the forms before the same date or with a late fee before July 14.

According to board officials, the pass percentage this year is expected to be slightly better but will not witness quantum jump seen in 2008 results. Last year, the total pass percentage of the state was 86.33% for the candidates appearing in the new course, up by six percent compared to 2007. The Nagpur division too witnessed a surge in its SSC results at 67.09%, up from 53.41% in 2007.
