Earlier, the admission process was to end on August 9, but now it will end on August 7, said Godhne. However, the authorities from the education department are still baffled about the huge difference between the number of forms sold and the number of forms actually submitted.
Around 9,500 forms have been reported missing. A group of students approached Godhne with a complaint that some junior colleges have been approaching them and offering them admissions without filling up the forms. He assured that he will be investigating the matter and these colleges will be identified soon. "Action will be taken against management and principals of these colleges," he said.
Polytechnic merit list to be out on July 29
According to a new notification issued by the directorate of technical education (DTE), the final merit list for polytechnic faculty will be declared on July 29 at 3 pm. The students can submit their grievances and complaints on July 26 and July 27. The DTE has already published provisional merit list.
