National Executive Meeting of Grahak Panchayat

THE National Executive Meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat that met in Nagpur on July 11 exhorted the workers to build public opinion against price rise and force the administration to take effective steps to arrest the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities. The Panchayat also warned the government to stop aping the western model of development. The meeting was presided over by national president Shri Rajabhau Pofali. Patron of the Panchayat and noted economist Dr Bajranglal Gupt and guide of the Panchayat Shrikant Joshi were also present on the occasion. Former vice chancellor of Ajmer University Dr Purushottam Chaturvedi also addressed the workers. The meeting also decided to conduct membership drive on large scale and also to hold State-level training camps for the workers. Similar training camps will also be organised at district level.
