nagpur :- Unadkat replaces injured Zaheer in Nagpur Test

Zaheer Khan has been ruled out of the third Test against New Zealand due to an abdominal strain. 19-year-old Saurashtra bowler Jaydev Unadkat has been named as his replacement.

Zaheer went off the field on day-four of the Hyderabad Test after experiencing a strain in his lower abdominal region. Though he came back during the end of the day, he only bowled on the morning of the final day, before once again retreating to the dressing room.

Unadkat, who is currently playing his maiden Ranji Trophy, impressed one and all with his stupendous first-class debut in England, playing for India A, in which he registered match-figures of 13 for 103.

However, Ishant Sharma, who is already a part of the Test squad is most likely to replace Zaheer in the playing eleven.
