The CP and Berar Education Society's college at Mahal is celebrating its golden jubilee this year. To commemorate the occasion, the college is organizing an inaugural function on their premises at 4pm on Monday which would be attended by a galaxy of dignitaries including leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and BJP national president Nitin Gadkari.
Wardha MP Datta Meghe, Nagpur University vice chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, CP and Berar Education Society chairman Balasaheb Mahajan and secretary Ashok Bansod.
Addressing the reporters on the college's premises, principal Milind Barahate informed that the celebration started last year where they had conducted a variety of programmes and events including an alumni meet and a medical camp. "A two-day conference for Marathi teachers was also organized on February 4 and 5," he said.
