The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Wednesday seized 1.75 kg gold worth Rs 36 lakhs from at the railway station here and detained two persons in this connection, police said.
The duo from Gurgaon (Haryana), who have not been identified yet, were seen moving in suspicious manner at the station and when police conducted a search found gold in their possession, Police Inspector, R Yadav of GRP, Nagpur told PTI.
Interrogations are on and prima facie, police have found that the accused do not belong to the business or trading community, police added.
