The Center for Research in Art of Film & Television, CRAFT offers a course in News anchoring and Radio Jockey. There may be some more institutes that offer news-reading courses in India. However, it is not mandatory to pursue a course in news reading to become a newsreader. A person with good diction and passion for the job can directly appear for an audition.
