nagpur :- Congress framing Indresh for votes

Congress framing Indresh for votes

Reacting sharply to RSS executive council member Indresh Kumar being named in chargesheet of the Ajmer dargah blast, BJP alleged that Congress was framing him for votebank politics.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, BJP national spokesperson Tarun Vijay also slammed Congress for not cracking down on Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Arundhati Roy for their remarks on Kashmir.

Former editor of RSS mouthpiece Organiser, Vijay said Congress had been raising the bogey of saffron terrorism and the Rajasthan ATS's act was in line with that. "Congress leaders compare RSS with an anti-national organization like SIMI. What sort of politics is this?" he asked.

When asked about the impact on BJP in case of damaging revelations about RSS's role in blasts, Vijay said he would react if and when such a situation arose. "As the investigation progresses, grain will be separated from the chaff. We will extend all possible cooperation to the security agencies," he said.

Calling Geelani and Roy traitors, Vijay asked, "These people demanded secession of Kashmir from India in Delhi and yet the UPA is not taking any action against them. Does the home ministry need video-recording of the seminar?"

The BJP spokesperson said Congress had insulted Indian soldiers by allowing secessionists to hold the controversial seminar. "Indian soldiers are laying down their lives in Kashmir not of their own will but because the government has deployed them. Why is it keeping the army in Kashmir?" he asked.
