"Many of them are now placed in reputable institutions in countries like Canada, US and UK. Being exposed to the advancements in the field, it would be nice to take their help and update knowledge of the others," added his counterpart from physiotherapy Dr N Deshpande.

"We have invited all the family members of the ex-students. This way they can spend some quality time with their loved ones that does not come easily to doctors. The programme will give them ample time and opportunities to have fun as many cultural events, games and a grand family picnic have been planned," said Dr Avinash Dhargave, himself an alumnus of GMC who is now the superintendent physiotherapist at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
