Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sought time as its regular counsel Ijaz Khan was busy elsewhere.
A division bench of justices AP Lavande and PB Varale asked the CBI to make some alternative arrangements if it was not possible for Khan to appear regularly but the CBI officials assured that he would appear on June 30.
During the last hearing, the bench had allowed CBI's appeal for condonation of delay in the case that had rocked the state in 2006.
The CBI had also filed two appeals asking for death sentence for two convicts-- Gopal Binjewar and Shishupal Dhande-- given life sentence and against acquittal of all eight accused from offences under Scheduled Castes and Schedules Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and other relevant acts.
