Trains diverted due to heavy rains

With train traffic still disrupted due to heavy rains in South India, many trains to and from Bangalore and Secunderabad have been
diverted. The 2429 Secunderabad-Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express, which left Secunderabad on October 5 and the one leaving on October 7 have been diverted via Jolarpeth, Kathpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Vijaywada, Warangal, Ballarshah and Nagpur. Similarly, the 2430 Nizamuddin-Bangalore Rajdhani Express which left Nizamuddin on October 5 and the ones scheduled to run on October 6 and 9 have been diverted via Nagpur, Ballarshah, Warangal, Vijaywada, Guddur, Renigunta, Kathpadi and Jolarpeth.

The 5016 Yeswantpur-Gorakhpur Express running on October 8 will be diverted via Guntkal, Dohan, Kachipuda, Secunderabad, Kajipeth, Ballarshah and Nagpur. Train number 5015 Gorakhpur-Yeswantpur Express which left from Gorakhpur on October 5 has been diverted via Nagpur, Ballarshah, Kajipeth, Secunderabad, Kachipuda, Dohan, Guntkal and Yeswantpur. Train number 2592 Secunderabad-Gorakhpur Express which left Secunderabad on October 5 has been diverted via Guntkal, Dohan, Kachipuda, Secunderabad, Kajipeth, Ballarshah, Nagpur and Gorakhpur.

Railways have made arrangements for all re-routing information to be announced over the Public Address System on all platforms. Help booths have also been set up on platform number 1. Passengers who do not want to travel on a train running late by more than 3 hours will also be given full refund on their tickets.
