extended by three days. Earlier, it was scheduled to function till December 18, but will now
end on December 23. The decision to this effect was taken by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) on Thursday. However, the extension would not mean more sittings for the houses as there will be holiday from December 17 to 20 on account of legislative council polls as well as NCP's convention in New Delhi.
Next week, the house will take up supplementary demands and government bills. On December 21, a motion to greet Sachin Tendulkar on his completing of 20 years in international cricket would be tabled.
