Appeal Against: (1) The Returning Officer, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur
Matter : Six Heads of the Department Elections 2010-11
Order:
The dispute regarding seniority of Dr. Khaparde & Shri Pithale is required to be considered by the Returning Officer in view of various representations received from the teachers of Athawale College of Social Work, Chimur.
As per seniority list maintained by the college Dr. Khaparde has shown to be senior to Shri Pithale. Though Shri Pithale was appointed in 1992 he had not acquired NET/SET or Ph.D.. Therefore, the provision of Govt. Resolution dated 18-10-2001 become operative. Dr. Khaparde had acquired NET in 1997 and also having Ph.D. Resultantly, Dr. Khaparde is required to be treated senior to Shri Pithale.
Shri Pithale had accepted this position and has no objection for Dr. Khaparde being treated to be HOD in the subject Social Work.
In so far as claim of Shri Pithale for the subject of Economic is concerned is basic qualification is M.S.W. and also approved as lecturer in Social Work. Therefore he can not be treated to be lecturer in Economic and the claim can not be accepted. Accordingly the name of Dr. Khaparde will be included in the voters list as HOD of Social Work in view of seniority.
