Two senior academicians in the city have made the city proud by attempting to bring reformations in the education system on their part lately. One such initiative by Sanjay Jain and Girish Sahasrabudhe, who wrote a reference book for students on engineering physics, has won accolades.
Aiming at the academic needs of students, both have received appreciation for simplifying and presenting the layout of the book in a precise manner. The book has been prescribed by the prestigious Anna University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University and is being promoted in IITs and NITs.
Jain informed TOI that most reference books are not concise and occasionally even leave out important facts. "Topics included in the book are strictly keeping the syllabus and interests of students in mind," he said.
