Campus of the University wi-fi enabled by the end of this year: Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University increased his pace in the direction of digitization. He said to make the varsity wi-fi enabled, Mahatma Fule, LIT, Law College and the campus administration building on Maharaj Bagh would be connected. The new software would link 5000 subscribers, including researchers and students also facilitated will be. The plan to start virtual classroom is also underway, he informed.
It may be mentioned that the HRD Ministry has sought queries from universities across the country at various points such as availability of local area network, wi-fi Facilities in campuses, optical fiber networks of computer systems etc. The queries have to be responded back at the earliest.
