Infosys Selects 27 Students from Nagpur / Vidhar

Apeksha Padole had exceptionally good percentage in class XII, but they could not the pursuit of higher studies of her choice. Pursuing Bachelor of Computer application (BCA) of Gondia based B Bandhu Science College, Apeksha had no idea that she would be hired by a multinational company one day. Today, she is one of the 27 students from Vidarbha to get posted with Infosys.

These students of Nagpur Division were recruited during a campus swimming pool selection drive recently organized by Jhulelal Institute of Technology (JIT) in collaboration with Vidarbha Engineering Colleges placement Association. Noteworthy, almost 50% of the district's students are selected places in Wardha, Chandrapur and Gondia. "This is the first time Infosys students of colleges of these districts hired. 32 cleared from the 65 eligible candidates, the online testing process which 27 students were finally selected.
