Nagpur University & MKCL two years disputes resolved: After two years, the Nagpur University on Monday resolved all its disputes with Maharashtra knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL), popularly known as ' e-scam, and also decided their tires, which set the stage for restoration of all online services and Web portal which was closed for a year.
NOW the management council unanimously approved the formula by a panel led by VC Siddharthvinayaka Kane and pro-VC Pramod Yeole worked out. We recommend that MKCL should be paid Rs 1.47 crore against his claim for Rs 3.60 crore for ten pre research service to the students. It was also agreed that the cooperation with service provider would continue further according to the pact, inked in 2005-06.
The understanding was reached after marathon discussions with MKCL top brass that included Director Vivek Sawant.
"Now, MKCL would be provided in all 14 services according to the agreement of 2005-06. Earlier, they used to pre exam services of registration to hall-tickets/identity cards. Now, they have decided to three post research services for the same rate of Rs 50 per student who NOW had outsourced to companies like Promarc, "said Kane and Yeole.
They admitted the officials NOW blame MKCL postal services provide exam questions before them never to others. "MKCL is successfully that similar services in other universities. However, our officials failed them needed to provide data for post exam work. Therefore we decided to create a Coordinating Committee under pro-VC with officials of the exam section, provide data to MKCL NOW to work on uploading the results and related forms online degrees, "explained the VC.

Kane pointed out that MKCL expressed its inability to deliver "on the screen evaluation" that now would be outsourcing to a private player and soon with e-procurement process. "However it would be providing nine free services that a ' mobile app ' where students can have access to their exam timetable, mark-sheets and even degrees sitting anywhere in the world. They have also agreed to upload data from external services and revaluation and failure students. MKCL would set up a "facilitation Centre ' on exam section for helping students."
With the end of one of the longest-running disputes NOW top brass let out a sigh of relief as the way for them by ex-IT Secretary Rajesh Agrawal panel recommendations. "We have told them the portal to start immediately by tomorrow and online admission from August 1," she said.
