NAGPUR 11 TH ADMIT ION | Std XI admission process begins today
Even before the declaration of State board's much-awaited SSC results, the Nagpur division of state education department has announced the schedule of standard XI admissions. The sale and distribution of forms for the centralized admission process (CAP) would simultaneously commence from several centres across the city from 11am and would continue till 4pm. The admissions would be made under the supervision of centralized admission committee (CAC). The whole process will be supervised by deputy director of education, Nagpur.
The CAC has given out the names of various centres where forms for both science and commerce would be made available along with the bifocal stream. Students who failed in last few years and had been awarded allowed to keep term (ATKT) facility can submit their forms only at Dhanwate National College (DNC).
Sources from the deputy director of education office has informed that the forms for bifocal admission will only be accepted at Dhanwate National College (DNC), Congress Nagar, between 11am and 4pm. Moreover, forms for special categories like handicapped, wards of defence personnel, students excelling in sports and cultural at national, state level, will also be accepted at DNC only.
The provisional merit list for bifocal admissions will be out on June 26 on education department websites. The list will also be published at - New English High School, Sindhi Hindi Boys Higher Secondary School, Mohta Science College, Dr Ambedkar College, besides DNC. The bifocal admissions would be made through spot admission process at DNC only. The students and parents will be required to be personally present during bifocal admissions. The provisional merit list of selected candidates for science and commerce courses will be published around July 16 at various colleges in the city. The students have to finalize their admissions in respective colleges before July 21.
